Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Masseuse they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Laborer, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: He got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Spice Merchant for hire.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
