History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Leaf was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Leaf's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Leaf and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Suhnae lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His childhood dream was to be a Performer, but he was a colossal failure. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Performer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Soapmaker, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and further expansion of business

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Carter arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and she is greedy

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Sindri liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Being a Bookbinder kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
