History: She got into the Carter business at a young age. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kabbarg grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kabbarg. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Krimmon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Krimmon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of giants

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. Being a Scribe kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sage and was forced into it by her family; and an old rival family wants her found
