Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Halander alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and he wants revenge against illithids

She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and she's repulsed by the pc

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he usually wears his tan robe and has his greataxe always slung over his shoulder. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Rolen hails from a village terrorized by orcs. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
