History: He was born in the west. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Thorin took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up shield and armor he uses now. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: Quespa hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Miller work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miller work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. During her travels, Shanairla and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Shanairla discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Shanairla fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
