She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Cloak was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
