History: The child of a Map Maker, who enjoyed hunting, Shane was taken on many hunting expeditions. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.

Description: This man wears light armors faded through time and improper care. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized ruby on his right hand. His brown hair is braided into rings. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Junk Dealer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He is wearing a long, brown cloak. His hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with music. He constantly tries to fill his life with music. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Orsik was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Half-Elven compassion; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: This slender woman stands about 3'1". She wears a white costume with the symbols of the sun god on her torso. Her chestnut hair is knotted and matted. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: She was born in a small mountains village. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She's attracted to the PC; and to be a sellsword again
