Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gerald does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Gerald and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Server they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Mayor, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
