Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He carries with him a set of greatswords, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His brown hair is braided into rings. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his youth he was a Scribe, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She has shaved her head bald. Her green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Hatae wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Expert, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hatae grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hatae. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
