Description: An older man who likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, he is not a threatening figure. His red hair is smooth and relatively long. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Laucian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Bilga took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shortspear and armor she uses now. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
