Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Dwarven culture. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Bernard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Through the years after Bernard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Bernard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He tends to his Navigator job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His first spouse was a Priest, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
