History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. After a long history of fighting, Arannis and his spouse have recently divorced.

She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His first spouse was a Sellsword, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
