History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Mindartis was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Mindartis decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Born in the east to a Herbalist, Ubada learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To be a Detective again; and retire the richest woman in the east
