History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. After a long history of fighting, Susannah and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Tanner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Tanner work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Shax never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
