Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Egelina embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Egelina was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Unemployed hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around her neck, and a pickaxe on her belt. She keeps her long black hair kept up in a rat tail. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She can't help but pocket interesting objects she comes across

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and retire the richest woman in the south
