History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Mella alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. After a long history of fighting, Artin and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Gorga was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
