History: Gildmak hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gildmak grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gildmak. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
