Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: Born in the west to a Blacksmith, Gubrash learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Blacksmith for hire.
