History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gardain was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Priest for the past few years.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barber hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Spy. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Spy for hire.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.
