History: Born in the south to a Spice Merchant, Ilga learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Spice Merchant and found it very stressful. She came across an abandoned tomb where she found a relic that called out to her. After picking it up she was cursed by unlife.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Adrie was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: Peter lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Peter was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Peter's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
