History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Vola grew up listening to her mother's many stories. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Vola alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
