History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Thiala was born on a far southern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Mortician. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Knight for the past few years.
