However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Callybon isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Callybon was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Callybon's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone.
