History: Drifting was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
