He prefers to carry a monstrous two handed axe, but if one is not available he will default to his greatsword. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Varis isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Half-Elven unity. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born into a rich family. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Whurdred lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
