She prefers to carry a falchion, but if one is not available she will default to her pickaxe. Her crest, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. Her gold eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is a great chef.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Her parents enrolled her in a Ranger school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He has styled his brown hair well, parting it to the left. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jabbie embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: He wears a blue tunic with black highlights, and long yellow pants that bunch up around his shoes. He carries a battered ceremonial dagger and tarnished warhammer as well. His black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. His eyes are green.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Layabout arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Layabout for the past few years.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a black coat over a white low-cut shirt, and a deerstalker hat upon his head. He sports a flattop crest cut. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep red.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Sethrekar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Sethrekar. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and to find somewhere to settle down
