History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Uthemar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Uthemar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
