History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Corkitron was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age his father died while driving off some brigands. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in bastard sword use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Shava was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has worked as a Mason like her father before her.
