Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Herbalist business.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jo fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
