When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He tends to his Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Miles hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. At a young age his mother died while driving off some gnolls. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in dagger use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Miles was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the north. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Agnes took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up scythe and armor she uses now. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and further expansion of business
