Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his grey robe. His blue hair is braided into rings. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are black.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Barakas grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Barakas. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Verna was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her youth she was a Mason, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Verna fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mason. He became a Mason soon after.

He has gray eyes and a yellow hat with a black feather.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Blacksmith mother left him crippled. He's also a talented Blacksmith, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
