History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tippletoe fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Abalaba lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Her father taught her the rudiments of the Bather arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kathra grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is her passion; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
