History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He became a Shoemaker soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shoemaker responsibilities is difficult; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
