His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Tethren was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bounty Hunter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. His childhood dream was to be a Performer, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Baker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
