History: Qualen was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: Born to a Herbalist, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He worked as a nervous Stableman and found it very stressful. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Stableman.
