History: Oriel was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Art hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tabaxis became a terror of the countryside. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.
