History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He became a Painter soon after.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his father's many stories. Through the years after Bernard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Bernard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
