History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Melissa was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents enrolled her in a Barbarian school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Spice Merchant for the past few years.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Savaran was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Marshal.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and balancing her hectic life and new marshal responsibilities is difficult
