History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his quarterstaff, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a rose on it. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Paggen wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Paggen lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has achieved small success as a Layabout.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Shipwright. She's also a talented Glassblower, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
