History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. During her travels, Jo and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Jo discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Jo fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 3 years.
