History: Veloptima hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He is obsessed with his god.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Locksmith kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Her parents enrolled her in a Monk school at a young age so that she could practice her psionic talents. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
