History: Flask lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Crown-heir, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hillanot grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hillanot. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
