History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Tippletoe was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and retire the richest woman in the east

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears skinny pants and wears a brown and black robe with the hood down. Her red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She has a dull look in her blue eyes.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Description: He wears a simple tan robe with brown stripes complete with hood. His brown hair is heavily combed to the left. His eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Fibblestib embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born to a Navigator, his father struggled to pay the bills. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. After a long history of fighting, Fibblestib and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
