History: Avice was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it

Description: An older woman who is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time, she is not a threatening figure. She wears her golden hair up. Her eyes are a pleasant violet.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Her necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: She is mildly Tiefling supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a simple green robe with black stripes complete with hood. He has styled his red hair well, parting it to the right. His black eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker green hat.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While he appears to be a normal Tiefling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content
