Personality: Bertram is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This tall, slender woman wears a robe, a symbol of luck around her neck, and a hammer on her belt. She has done her best to style her chestnut hair to look like a famous performer. Her eyes are likewise brown.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Elysande grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Description: With white face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her hair is long and white with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small yellow clips. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. The war was a terrible time for her, and Naivara does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Naivara was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Slave Trader who has hired him part-time. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was born into a rich family. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and he's looking for his big break
