Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Bookbinder. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He's also a talented Barrister, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Merla's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: Merla lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.
