History: Born to a Roofer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Gardener work with an outfit from a few towns over. Gardener work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
