History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nykkan grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and wants to raise his children well

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the north were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
