Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Dalaba was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
