History: Grai hails from a village terrorized by drow. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

She has styled her chestnut hair well, parting it to the right. Her blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her music with anyone who is interested.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
